We booked a family room, it was complete with the bedroom, sofa, comfortable beds. The staff was pleasant, provided an early check-in and a late check-out. The location of the hotel was amazing and handy - a 10-15 minute walking distance from The Place.

A very attractive historical exterior to The Bloomsbury is matched by an interior which balances original features like the stained glass with a single bedroom which although small had all the facilities necessary for comfort. Its location is conveniently near, for example, Euston Station, the British Museum and numerous theatres. The breakfast was well organised, served by efficient and friendly staff and was very tasty.
My only complaint that my bedroom was not ready for entry for some time after my afternoon arrival.

Too noisy, traffic on one side and walking street with pub outside window. Windows very old and not tight, cold wind coming in room. Paper coming of the wall, ugly colors. There were no heating in a cold bathroom but the shower was the best about the stay

Noisy street noise and although room was ok and clean, the corridors and lift area were very shabby. Didn't eat or drink there, wasn't a very good atmosphere, kinda empty. also Booked.net gave a price in euros of €443 and the hotel cost €469, not happy about that.

We arrived at the hotel it was all shut up contacted booking agent who contacted Thistle group who advised that we had been moved to the Thistle Holbpurn who apologized for not informing us. No hot water on the first night took a long time after
